The Philippines' premiere Fighting Game event. REV Major is a multi-title Esports tournament in the Asia-Pacific region featuring some of the biggest Fighting Video Game titles.

TWT MASTER EVENT

Rev Major is part of the TEKKEN World Tour professional league as a Master-level tournament with the winner to earn 300 points which will help them secure a slot at the TEKKEN World Tour finals where they will face the best TEKKEN players from all around the globe.

GENERAL REGULATIONS (1/2)

  • 1 on 1, double elimination. Best of 3 (First to 2).
    *For the winner's final, loser's final, and the grand final, the rules will be changed to best of 5 (First to 3). Applies to all games unless otherwise stated below.

  • All titles are to be played on the PlayStation(R)4 platform unless otherwise stated.

  • The mode to be used will be the "VS Mode" or the equivalent of each title.

  • The game will be updated to the latest version of the game at the point when the tournament is held.

  • The control setting can be changed freely within the game. However, any controller function such as rapid pressing (turbo), or macros, are not allowed.

  • Players are able to change their characters in the beginning before the first match. Once the match starts, only the loser of the match is allowed to change their character.

GENERAL REGULATIONS (2/2)

  • Players may mutually agree who sits on the left and right side. If players cannot agree, a Best-of-One

  • Rock-Paper-Scissors will be played to determine side selection.

  • Any player who is late for their match will be automatically considered to have lost that match. This includes players who have not respond for their matches when being called up by the tournament organizers.

  • All players are to check their button configuration before the start of the match.

  • Once the match begins, until the round is over, if the pause or share button is pressed, the player who pressed the button will be automatically granted a loss for that round. This includes any controller malfunction after the button check has been conducted.

  • If it is deemed that a player is deliberately delaying the progress of the match by the organizers, there will be a possibility of that player being disqualified.

The REV Major 2019 will be held in The Tent at Solaire Resort & Casino, making it the first Fighting Game Esports event in South East Asia to be held in a hotel venue.
